Mahon Sunday School Teachers

The Sunday School meets every Sunday morning @ 10.30 am from early September to the end of May.
Exceptions would be Easter Sunday, Harvest Sunday and the Sunday after Christmas

Each week we begin with the singing of choruses and try to mix old with new.
June is our pianist. The teachers take it in turn to lead the children in prayer before classes. It is important the children learn to pray to the Lord Jesus, to give thanks and think of others.
Class Work is taken from workbooks such as Go Teach.
The weekly collection is used for Missionary work.
Sometimes we stop early and share a drink of juice and biscuits with the children. They enjoy a Bible Quiz, girls usually against the boys. It's fun.

Some annual events
March - Sunday School Prize Giving/Cup for best attendance
May - Sunday School Anniversary Service.
June - Saturday afternoon BBQ in Gosford Forest Park
December - Sunday before Christmas, the children present the Christmas story in drama and song. This is always a very special service. You can see photos from our 2004 service here.
Christmas Morning - Early morning service, the children bring with them
some of the toys Father Christmas has left. The Minister has some fun with them.
