Our Minister

The current minister of Mahon is the Rev Desmond Curran. He has been with us for just over one year and he has been a blessing to us. He lives at the Manse in Thomas Street with his wife Elizabeth who is a part-time school teacher and they have a dog called Sam.

Desmond preaches the Gospel, pure and simple. He is a great encourager and wants to see people give their lives to the Lord. Elizabeth is a Local Preacher on the circuit and also makes a point of being in all three churches under Desmond’s care as often as possible. We are always pleased to see them in Mahon.
