Church Leaders

As in all Methodist Churches, Mahon is run by the “Leaders Board”. The Board is made up of 11 members and meets every three months. The meeting is led by the Minister and after a time of devotion, the Agenda for the evening is opened and many matters concerning the everyday running of the Church are discussed and decisions made.

Members of the Board are also eligible to attend the Quarterly Board on the circuit, which also meets every three months, when matters concerning all seven church on the circuit are dealt with.

To be a member of the Leaders Board, one has to be a Christian, to love the Lord and have a desire to spread the His Word.
