Confirmation Service

The Leaders Board in Mahon Methodist Church decided to hold a series of Preparation Classes in the Spring of 2005 following the completion of Mission in Battlehill and Epworth.

Classes began on 5th April and ran for 6 weeks. There were eleven people in total, ranging in age from 15 to 60 years. Ten of these were from Mahon and one from our sister church of Battlehill.

At our morning service on Sunday 15th May all ten came forward and were Confirmed as Full Members of the Methodist Church. During the period leading up to these preparation classes, our prayer was that the Lord would move among our people and He has richly blessed us. We give thanks and pray that God will use those newly confirmed in the expansion of His Kingdom.
