Church Circuit

Mahon is one of seven Churches on the Thomas Street, Portadown Circuit.

Our sister Churches are Thomas Street, Edenerry Memorial, Epworth, Battlehill, Derryanville and Ballinarry.

The Superindendant Minister is the Rev David Clements, who is responsible for Edenderry, Derryanville and Ballinarry.  He is assisted by two Ministers, the Rev Bobby Loney with responsibility for Thomas Street and the Rev Kenneth Robinson who is responsible for Mahon, Battle and Epworth..

Though we are seven separate Churches and have our own times of worship on Sunday morning and evening, we are one Church in the Lord Jesus Christ. We work together, pray together and take an interest in the work of each society. During the winder months we share a weekly Bible Class on Wednesday evenings, moving between two or three of the Churches. In the Spring and Summer months we meet together for a shared Prayer Meeting, when we would have up to 60 people from the Circuit. These meetings are held in all of our seven Churches. Being part of a large circuit is very important to a small country Church such as Mahon, we appreciate the support we receive from our friends in the other Churches.

On the circuit we have a wonderful Youth Pastor in Adam Pierson. Adam joined us three years ago and in that time he has influenced the lives of many . He works tirelessly for the youth of the circuit, both in the Church and in the town. He goes into the schools to meet with them, he meets them in the coffee shops and anywhere he can bring them to a love and knowledge of Jesus. Many young lives have been saved by the influence of Adam Pierson.
